We're an independent baptist church located in south Atlanta, Georgia. At Calvary's Harvest, though we have one message-the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry-the ministry He has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

There are more than 15,000 independent baptist churches in America and at least 10,000 independent Baptist missionaries serving on mission fields worldwide.

Every independent baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self-governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice and it is our desire to be a truly New Testament church.

About Pastor Craig Bennett

Dr. Bennett founded Calvary’s Harvest Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. He served as Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in SHAPE Belgium for 15 years prior to returning to the United States in October 2003. He has several degrees to his credit which includes: AA from New Mexico State University, AA in Computer Studies from City Colleges of Chicago, AA in Management from the University of Maryland; BA in Information Management form University of Maryland, BA in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University, MA in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University, PhD in Bible from Louisiana Baptist University and a PhD in Christian Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University.

Dr. Bennett is a Retired Army Sergeant First Class, he is an International Speaker and has preached in France, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Italy, the Philippines, Canada, the Bahamas, England and the United States. He is an annual speaker at the Conference On Evangelizing Black America (COEBA) and is an active participant in the Helping Evangelize Lost People, (HELP) Ministry from Brandon, Florida. Dr. Bennett has also written several books: “If the Foundation Be Destroyed, (These Dumb Idols)” and “From the Heart” Counsel From a Father to a Son.

Dr. Bennett has been married for 30 years to Margaret Bennett and he has 2 children, Lanett and Lance.
