From the Pastor:
Happy Mother’s Day is an expression that is being echoed throughout churches and in almost every corner of America today. Yet there are very few that truly show how much that phrase means to the person that it is directed towards.
Some look at the salutation with great pride and other not so much because of the way their titles came about. I have to say however that it is a blessed thing to be called a mother. And those who have come to that place being unmarried, I am so glad that you still took the oath and responsibility of motherhood regardless of the circumstances that facilitated it. You could have been like so many who discarded the child but you did not and for that you are to be commended, because now there is chance that your child can accomplish great things for the Glory of GOD.
How will that happen? Raise them in the nurture and admonition of the LORD. For you who are willing to do that, this is truly a happy and blessed Mother’s day! For the children and father’s today, make sure you make a bid deal about Mom!
